National Manager, Software Engineering

What you will do

• Develop and execute technology strategy for a technology domain aligned with business objectives.
• Lead multiple engineering teams and own delivery of initiatives across customer-facing features, backend data, platforms, and integrations.
• Build scalable, lean technology stacks supporting global product launches and distributed multi-tenant platforms.
• Drive engineering and operational excellence through best practices, metrics, continuous learning, and delivery mechanisms.
• Partner with product, enterprise, UX, architecture, and infrastructure leaders on product strategy and customer experience.
• Hire, retain, coach, evaluate, mentor, and promote engineering managers and technical talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15+ years of engineering experience developing global customer-facing products and 7+ years of management experience.
• Experience building large-scale customer experience platforms, distributed multi-tenant systems, and high-availability applications across public cloud and on-premise environments.
• Hands-on expertise in object-oriented programming, JavaScript frameworks, architecture, design patterns, RESTful API development, and customer experience engineering.
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaboration across UX, product management, architecture, and infrastructure.
• Experience in machine learning and GenAI, with strong communication and executive influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or banking.
• Experience delivering SDKs, customer experience frameworks, and SaaS products in product-driven companies.
• Solution architecture experience with AWS or GCP.
