Technical Lead Manager, Autonomy Evaluation and Intelligence (AI)

Salary: $235,030–$352,290 base pay per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and deploy intelligent evaluation agents that simulate complex interactions.
• Develop advanced algorithms and metrics to measure the cognitive performance of machine-learning models powering autonomous vehicle behavior.
• Use evaluation frameworks to identify behavioral weaknesses in the hirify.globalDriver and improve decision-making logic.
• Define a technical roadmap and architecture that unifies evaluation frameworks for automated, data-driven validation.
• Collaborate with Autonomy and Infrastructure engineers to manage dependencies and secure the compute and infrastructure required for execution.
• Lead, mentor, hire, and organize a high-performing engineering team.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of industry experience and a track record of driving team success through mentorship and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML, robotics, and/or large-scale evaluation systems.
• Exceptional technical judgment and the ability to evaluate complex trade-offs.
• Ability to establish a clear technical vision, align teams, and drive fast, high-quality execution.
• Experience hiring, organizing, and developing engineering teams and fostering a strong engineering culture.
