Global Service Transportation Lead

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Travel required for 10% of the time. Relocation is not available.

Global materials engineering company designing, building, and servicing equipment used to manufacture semiconductor chips and advanced displays.

What you will do

• Define and execute global transportation strategy, policies, standards, governance, and operating procedures.
• Optimize transportation networks through modeling, capacity planning, demand forecasting, and logistics cost analysis.
• Manage carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers, including performance reviews, corrective actions, and strategic negotiations.
• Establish global transportation KPIs, executive dashboards, reporting, and data-driven performance insights.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, digital transformation, quality, claims, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives.
• Oversee transportation audits, regulatory compliance, risk management, escalations, and collaboration with trade compliance, legal, and internal audit teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive transportation, logistics, and supply chain leadership experience in a global organization.
• Extensive experience managing global transportation networks, carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Strong knowledge of international transportation, import/export operations, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Experience leading large-scale process improvement and transportation transformation initiatives.
• Advanced analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and lead global cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• CSCP, CLTD, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
• Experience managing multimodal transportation networks across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Experience implementing TMS, control towers, and logistics visibility solutions.
