What you will do

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies tailored to unique development needs.
  • Drive supplier development and foster innovation through collaborative partnerships.
  • Manage sourcing activities, aligning technical specifications and cost requirements with business goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements and negotiate technical contract terms.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, sustainability standards, and procurement policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in supplier management, sourcing strategy, or commodity management.
  • Proficiency in supplier management practices and contract negotiation.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Penang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with supplier sourcing in APJ or related regions.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across diverse teams.
