Chief of Staff to the CTO

Location: Torrance, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $100,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity and potential performance bonuses

What you will do

• Act as a strategic thought partner and execution force multiplier for the CTO.
• Drive complex cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, and business development.
• Coordinate resource allocation, ownership models, roadmaps, dependencies, and execution visibility.
• Design and run planning reviews, roadmap syncs, and weekly execution checkpoints.
• Synthesize progress, risks, and tradeoffs into concise leadership updates.
• Represent engineering priorities in key forums and support executive decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering operations, product operations, or a similar role.
• Experience coordinating complex work across multiple engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort operating with ambiguity.
• Must work on-site in Torrance, California, and meet U.S. space technology export-control requirements.
