Senior Retail Finance Manager

What you will do

• Drive a consistent focus on profitability across the Protection and Retirements businesses.
• Connect actuarial, accounting, finance partnering, and commercial perspectives.
• Evaluate trade-offs across growth, profitability, capital, cash, and liquidity.
• Translate IFRS 17, Solvency II, and financial analysis into clear business narratives.
• Support transformation, product, pricing, and market-development priorities.
• Build consolidated views, improve finance processes through automation and AI, and influence senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant or qualified actuary.
• Strong financial services experience, ideally in life insurance or an insurance-focused consultancy.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 17 and life insurance financial performance.
• Commercial judgement across profitability, expenses, growth, capital, cash, or liquidity.
• Experience supporting change, transformation, or complex cross-functional activity.
• Ability to explain technical financial issues clearly and influence senior and non-specialist audiences.
