What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing specialty analytics team within the global analytics leadership function.
• Advise brokers and insurers on complex reinsurance transactions, portfolio performance, risk dynamics, and reinsurance structures.
• Establish the roadmap for analytical tools supporting pricing, portfolio insight, negotiations, and client-facing advisory.
• Apply actuarial methods to treaty reinsurance pricing across multiple perils and lines of business.
• Partner with brokers, clients, and reinsurers on placement narratives, negotiations, RFP responses, and new business pursuits.
• Drive the design of analytical systems, methodologies, peer review processes, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified professional with significant experience in specialty analytics, reinsurance, insurance, or advisory.
• Deep expertise in reinsurance gained at a leading reinsurance broker or global reinsurer.
• Extensive experience leading large teams and developing analytical talent.
• Strong understanding of treaty reinsurance pricing, portfolio analytics, exposure rating, experience rating, credibility weighting, profit optimization, and ROC optimization.
• Experience across multiple lines of business, including Property, Casualty, Marine & Energy, Cyber, Credit & Political Risk, or similar classes.
• Experience interpreting catastrophe models and integrating technical outputs into reinsurance structuring.

Nice to have

• Deep roots in the London and Bermuda specialty markets.
• Experience in US E&S or mid-market insurance.
• Understanding of AI, data science, generative AI, and data ingestion opportunities.
