Finance Business Partner (Insurance)

Location: Leeds, UK; hybrid working with 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Partner with underwriting, claims, operations, leadership, and senior finance stakeholders.
• Deliver management information, commercial analysis, performance commentary, and recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting cycles.
• Analyse financial performance, trends, risks, and business opportunities.
• Develop and enhance management reports, dashboards, and data capabilities.
• Improve the quality and accessibility of financial information and support data-led decision-making.

Requirements

• Previous Finance Business Partnering experience.
• Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder partnership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
• Proactive, self-sufficient approach with the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Insurance or regulated financial services experience.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Power BI, dashboarding, advanced management information, data, or reporting experience.
• Interest in AI and technology-enabled finance improvements.
