Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Frederick, Maryland, USA; onsite 5 days per week

Total compensation: $75,000–$99,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage technicians and assembly staff while coordinating daily workflows and shift schedules.
• Oversee rack-and-stack activities, including hardware mounting, power connectivity, network patching, cable routing, and labeling.
• Ensure installations follow rack elevation diagrams, wiring schematics, quality checklists, safety requirements, and production deadlines.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, network engineering, design engineering, integration, and QA teams.
• Report production throughput and bottlenecks to the Production Manager.
• Apply LEAN practices and continuous improvement strategies across the production process.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in data center operations, server integration, or systems integration, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of server rack standards, power distribution units, structured cabling, and cable management.
• Ability to interpret technical blueprints, rack diagrams, and signal flow charts and troubleshoot physical fitment issues.
• Ability to lift and carry hardware weighing up to 50 pounds and work for extended periods in warehouse or data center environments.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to obtain an interim or final suitability determination after the required background investigation.

• Familiarity with Voice Communication Systems hardware.
