Stamping Engineer (Die Design)

What you will do

• Manage individual stamping engineering assignments and deliver milestones against the department master schedule.
• Create die design structures that meet stamping process plans, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards.
• Support vendors and in-house manufacturing by reviewing designs and resolving design issues.
• Follow dies through pattern-casting, construction, and tryout phases and incorporate lessons learned from previous models.
• Evaluate die structure and strength, measure actual die performance, and analyze root causes of broken dies.
• Report project progress and support departmental hoshin activities; travel outside Kentucky, including internationally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent related work experience.
• At least 2 years of technical writing experience.
• At least 2 years of stamping die design experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with CATIA and die structure.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without hirify.global immigration support or employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Finite Element Analysis experience.
