Mechanical Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design and industrialize mechanical components for automotive camera, monitor, instrument cluster, and display systems.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and optical engineering teams to integrate imaging hardware.
• Develop and validate CAD models, drawings, tolerance analyses, DFMEA, and design reviews.
• Resolve thermal dissipation, vibration, sealing, IP-rating, mounting, and alignment challenges.
• Work with suppliers and customers on component development, tooling, validation, and mass-production readiness.
• Support environmental and durability testing, technical reviews, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent proven expertise.
• At least 5 years of automotive mechanical design and integration experience.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX, Creo, CATIA, Inventor, or comparable CAD tools.
• Knowledge of materials, thermal management, sealing, mounting systems, and environmental validation.
• Experience with mechatronic products, preferably ADAS, camera or monitor hardware, and mass-production processes.
• Understanding of CFD, mechanical FEA, optical alignment, and automotive communication protocols such as LVDS, Ethernet, and CAN.
