CAD Design I (Automotive)

Location: Development Center, 2030 Érd, Hungary; on-site production support required

What you will do

• Design automotive components for series production while meeting internal standards, industry norms, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Develop engineering solutions, functional sections, and concept sketches while considering installed and related components.
• Model parts and functional assemblies in CATIA V5 or NX, accounting for tolerances, materials, tooling, and production feasibility.
• Document development activities, communication, and technical outcomes in a structured and traceable manner.
• Lead an engineering sub-team when required and support standalone units or modules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, OEM customers, internal departments, and production teams, including line-support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry.
• Experience with CAD design software, preferably CATIA V5 or NX.
• Strong command of English and Hungarian.
• Experience with PLM/TCE database management systems and project monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and D-FMEA is advantageous; familiarity with Six Sigma development processes and DFSS is a plus.
