Principal Product Manager - Threat Detection Content (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid in Sunnyvale, California, USA; work two days per week from one of the centers of excellence. Travel up to 20% to customer and CrowdStrike locations worldwide.

Salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Define and maintain product strategy and roadmaps for cloud security, endpoint security, and detection content domains.
• Collaborate with malware research, data science, and engineering teams to analyze threat trends and deliver new defenses.
• Partner with marketing on go-to-market strategy, thought leadership, messaging, positioning, benefits, and target personas.
• Work with sales and support to champion releases and guide future product direction.
• Conduct competitive analyses and track competitive activity.
• Influence cross-functional teams and collaborate with product professionals across the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in detection content, EDR, SIEM, XDR, cloud security, identity, or related security segments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technology and positioning clearly.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with research, engineering, and product marketing teams.
• Strong quantitative and business analysis skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks.
• BA or BS degree in an applicable field or equivalent work experience.
