TL;DR
Financial Analyst (Aerospace Manufacturing): Supporting financial planning, reporting, cost accounting, and strategic decision-making for an aerospace manufacturing operation with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and manufacturing cost analysis. Focus on developing financial models, improving finance processes, and analyzing profitability across cross-functional manufacturing programs.

Location: Onsite in Mineral Wells, Texas, United States. Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 annually

What you will do

  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to analyze financial and P&L performance and improve profitability.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and corporate reporting.
  • Support revenue recognition for point-in-time and over-time customer contracts under U.S. GAAP.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, financial models, and scenario analyses.
  • Support manufacturing cost accounting, project costing, overhead allocation, and customer profitability analysis.
  • Lead initiatives to automate, standardize, and streamline finance processes, internal controls, ERP enhancements, and costing improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
  • At least 3 years of Finance or Accounting experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
