Senior Staff Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: WA Remote Zone 1, United States; hybrid with onsite work twice per week

Annual salary: $110,000–$260,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and productionize enterprise applications powering agentic AI and intelligent automation.
• Develop scalable platforms, services, and integrations with Slack, Outlook, Zoom, SharePoint, and Copilot.
• Translate architecture and software development strategy into production-grade distributed systems.
• Collaborate with application teams and business partners to standardize file-sharing practices and scale products from 0 to 1.
• Provide technical leadership, influence stakeholders, improve engineering practices, and ensure solution quality, usability, and performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 8+ years building scalable three-tier production applications serving millions of customers.
• Deep experience designing and developing complex multi-tier distributed systems.
• Fluency in at least two object-oriented languages, such as Java, Go, Python, or C++.
• Experience with continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, SonarQube, Terraform, Ansible, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Service Bus, or Azure Event Hub.
• Six or more years of experience with open-source frameworks.
