Skilled Maintenance Team Member (Manufacturing)

Location: Liberty, North Carolina, United States. Onsite manufacturing role with availability required for any shift, overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.

Salary: $35.00–$47.50 per hour, plus applicable shift premiums and a quarterly attendance bonus.

What you will do

• Support daily operations and maintenance of plant utility and building systems, including power, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, dust collection equipment, pumps, and tank farm systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial processing equipment used to manufacture products.
• Support safety, quality, production, and cost goals across the manufacturing operation.
• Apply technical knowledge in PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motion and motor control, welding, machining, and computer systems.
• Work outdoors when required and support maintenance activities across assigned shifts and shutdown periods.

Requirements

• Industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related military experience.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and Maximo/CMMS.
• Technical knowledge in one or more relevant maintenance disciplines, such as PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, motion control, welding, or machining.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without hirify.global immigration support or employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Degree in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or industrial automation.
• HVAC, low- and medium-voltage power, chemical systems, reliability-centered maintenance, or condition-based monitoring experience or certifications.
• Experience with battery manufacturing, highly automated production, PLC programming, controls, IoT data collection, vision systems, robot maintenance, or predictive maintenance.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM, vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, or current analysis.
