Executive Sourcer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or Palo Alto, United States

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Research, identify, and engage senior engineering and technical leadership candidates, from managers through executives.
• Build talent slates for hard-to-fill leadership roles using advanced research, organizational talent mapping, referrals, networks, AI-assisted automation, and creative outreach.
• Partner with leadership recruiters and executives to define role charters, calibrate candidate profiles, and challenge inaccurate scope or level assumptions.
• Conduct discreet, peer-level outreach for confidential searches.
• Track pipeline coverage, response and conversion rates, and pass reasons to optimize search strategies.
• Adapt sourcing efforts to shifting priorities, confidential searches, and changing team needs.

Requirements

• Exceptional technical literacy, including the ability to understand software and AI architectures, nuanced skill sets, scope of ownership, and organizational leadership experience.
• Proven experience sourcing senior and leadership talent in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills and credibility in peer-level conversations with senior leaders.
• Ability to build trust with candidates and internal recruiting and leadership partners.
• Creativity, resilience, curiosity, and comfort working through ambiguity and iteration.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in San Francisco or Palo Alto.

Nice to have

• Experience adopting AI tools, automating sourcing workflows, and experimenting with AI-assisted recruiting methods.
