What you will do

• Lead customer-facing pathfinding and system engineering to translate future technology needs into scalable solutions.
• Define the customer Concept of Operation to ensure alignment with real-world use cases and constraints.
• Act as the key technical interface between customers and internal system engineering and product development teams.
• Identify solution gaps, risks, and required functionality to meet customer performance and integration targets.
• Design and execute experiments to validate performance and demonstrate the value of proposed solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations to customers and internal stakeholders to support decision-making and adoption.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar technical role, with 5+ years specifically in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong analytical background with proficiency in tools such as MATLAB, Python, or JMP.
• Experience in system engineering, applications, pathfinding, or product development.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
• Ability to work from the Boise, ID location with up to 10% travel required.

Nice to have

• Experience with EUV, DUV, metrology, or system integration.
