What you will do

• Develop statistical analyses of underwriting and claims experience for ratemaking and management information reports.
• Conduct rate reviews and prepare filings for different business segments.
• Analyze and project loss trends and support insurance product development and enhancements.
• Present analyses, proposals, and recommendations to stakeholders and educate management on profitability and projections.
• Communicate across departments to support business strategies and company objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently with general direction and contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with data analysis software such as R, SAS, SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Intellectual curiosity, ability to learn, ask insightful questions, and solve complex problems.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience in a related job history.
• Previous internship experience in a related field or business.
