Information Analyst IV

National salary range: $98,100–$166,800 annually. National Plus salary range: $111,900–$190,200 annually for higher-cost labor markets, including Western Washington and Alaska.

What you will do

• Advise business partners on complex business topics, define reporting requirements, and develop data-driven solutions to increase revenue, reduce costs, and support regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-departmental analytical design, development, documentation, and project work.
• Extract data, produce reports, evaluate analytical accuracy, and conduct peer reviews across the organization.
• Improve operational databases, data quality, productivity, documentation, testing, and reporting standards; train analysts on implemented changes.
• Develop dashboards that communicate key data metrics and trends, and resolve complex analytical and data-quality problems.
• Estimate resources and costs, coordinate work across analysts and projects, and manage 1–3 direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and performance support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Health Care Administration, or a related field, or four years of work experience.
• Eight years of experience in data analytics and/or reporting.
• Management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and relational or cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Python or other analytical programming languages, data preparation and ETL tools, and automation.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience mentoring and leading analysts, providing technical guidance, and conducting peer or quality reviews.
• Experience translating complex business needs into analytical requirements and actionable solutions.
• Experience managing competing priorities, estimating level of effort, coordinating work across multiple analysts or projects, and establishing or applying standards for data quality, documentation, reporting, testing, and analytical development.
