Project Manager - GWI Projects NAM (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; travel across the North American portfolio required

Salary: $140,000–$192,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, contracting, and construction for hi-tech equipment installation and tenant improvement projects.
• Plan facility changes for laboratories, equipment layouts, and specialized semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Coordinate design criteria, layouts, drawings, costs, and compliance with business stakeholders, architecture and engineering firms, Facilities Operations, and EH&S.
• Resolve design, performance, safety, and building-code issues while maintaining a strong construction safety culture.
• Inspect construction and installation progress, coordinate building inspections, and participate in commissioning and handoff.
• Manage project reporting, RFIs, bid comparisons, work plans, approvals, and project closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in construction project management or facilities engineering.
• Expertise in construction project management within a specialized technical environment.
• Knowledge of semiconductor facility systems, fire and gas life-safety systems, building and electrical codes, and environmental and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Windows-based software, including Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience as a construction project manager or facilities engineer in semiconductor wafer-fab facilities.
• Knowledge of building control systems, remote energy management systems, SPC, 8D, DMAIC, and FMEA.
