Focus on managing FOAK/NOAK delivery risks, protecting critical-path and licensing milestones, and aligning engineering, procurement, construction, suppliers, and operations stakeholders.

Location: Remote work may be approved within the contiguous United States, with a preference for Houston, Texas, or Corvallis, Oregon. Approved remote work requires significant travel of up to 50% to support both office locations.

Salary: $150,537–$181,683 target base salary annually; full base salary range of $134,964–$211,098 annually.

What you will do

  • Lead one or more high-complexity nuclear programs across design integration, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, startup, and operational turnover.
  • Own performance against scope, schedule, budget, earned value, risk, and execution baselines.
  • Develop and maintain project management plans aligned with company standards, PMI/PMBOK processes, and ANSI/EIA-748-C EVMS practices.
  • Establish governance routines, executive reviews, status reporting, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Identify and mitigate technical, regulatory, supply-chain, construction, and startup risks affecting critical-path and licensing milestones.
  • Align A/E firms, EPC partners, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams around an integrated plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • PMI, PMP, or equivalent project management certification required.
  • Minimum 15 years of project/program management or technical leadership experience in the nuclear sector or complex energy infrastructure.
  • Experience with licensed nuclear design projects, PWR designs, NSSS interfaces, technical baselines, formal design control, and integrated schedule/cost control.
  • Demonstrated delivery of nuclear design, construction, and commissioning programs with regulatory interfaces and multidisciplinary systems integration.
  • Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Nice to have

  • MBA.
  • Experience with FOAK/NOAK deployment and US Department of Energy nuclear projects.
  • Experience setting strategic direction at senior or executive level.
