Project Manager 5 (Nuclear Project Development)

Location: Remote within the contiguous United States, with a preference for the Houston, TX office. National and international travel is required.

Target base salary: $150,537–$181,683 annually. Full base salary range: $134,964–$211,098 annually.

What you will do

• Manage planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closeout of supply chain and product manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate manufacturing, procurement, transportation, inspections, storage, and delivery activities to meet customer requirements, budgets, schedules, quality standards, and safety objectives.
• Identify, resolve, and escalate manufacturing and supply chain issues while maintaining project risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Present project status, earned value metrics, cost estimates, variance analysis, and delivery information at project reviews.
• Coordinate contractors, engineering and construction companies, manufacturing managers, procurement managers, and project directors.
• Manage project policies, procedures, documentation, contract changes, statements of work, supplier execution plans, and change control.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, project management, or a related field involving complex projects and multiple interfaces.
• Experience with construction practices and engineering or construction execution phases.
• Strong contract negotiation, contractor oversight, project planning, risk management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of quality assurance requirements including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1.
• Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 and be located within the contiguous United States.

Nice to have

• Experience manufacturing nuclear components, developing new nuclear projects, or managing supply chain contracts.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
