Application Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China; travel required 50% of the time; relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Identify complex problems and customer needs, following solutions through implementation.
• Create recipes and methodologies to optimize system performance for specific applications.
• Qualify new technologies and features, including beta-site evaluations, customer demonstrations, and application testing.
• Transfer new application capabilities from product divisions to customer application support teams.
• Participate in customer technical reviews and coordinate solution execution.
• Train process support and application engineers in recipe creation.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Technical judgment for solving problems and evaluating possible solutions.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Role based in Shanghai, China.
