Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; onsite customer-site work with more than 50% of the time in a clean room. Domestic and international travel, compressed work weeks, and potential night and weekend shifts may be required.

What you will do
- Maintain and service HMI MBI equipment at customer sites, including diagnostics, repairs, and regular and irregular maintenance.
- Install new equipment, upgrade existing systems, and perform system relocations.
- Prepare work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, technical reports, and monthly reports.
- Advise customers on corrective actions, train them in equipment use and maintenance, and provide technical assistance.
- Coordinate escalations with technical support, applications, and global support teams using clear problem statements and action plans.
- Coach junior engineers and contribute to improvement proposals based on post-mortems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- 0–4 years of hands-on industry or academic experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, or semiconductor processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel VBA.
- Basic programming skills in MATLAB, Python, SQL, or a similar language.
- Ability to work onsite at customer locations, spend extended periods in a clean room, and wear a Gore-Tex suit for shifts of up to 12 hours.
- Ability to meet United States controlled-technology access requirements and be legally authorized to access the technology before starting.
