CAD Engineer/Librarian Intern (Spring 2027) (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco, United States; onsite at the Northern California headquarters. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required.

Salary: $29 per hour ($29–$29 USD).

What you will do

• Model and draw spacecraft components, structures, and manifolds.
• Maintain and improve the design library and supporting data infrastructure.
• Develop and document practices that enable efficient, considerate design.
• Contribute to hands-on hardware development and complex aerospace projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, applied mathematics, industrial design, or an equivalent technical field.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Must hold U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status under applicable U.S. export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience designing complex assemblies and components.
• Experience designing spaceflight components or vacuum-compatible systems.
• Experience with surface modeling.
