Senior Project Manager (Automation & Electrification)

Location: Alpharetta, GA, US; office-based. The role requires legal entitlement to work in the USA and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites, typically 5–20%.

What you will do

• Lead high-value automation and electrification capital projects from inception through completion.
• Develop and manage project objectives, scope, schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, and success criteria.
• Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, supply chain, technical design, and procurement activities to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor project managers and team members while improving project management processes, tools, and lessons-learned practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field, with a focus on automation and electrification technologies.
• At least 8 years of project management experience delivering automation and electrification projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of automation and electrification technologies, industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends.
• Leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with project management tools, including MS Project or equivalent, and practical knowledge of North American standards.
• English communication skills and legal entitlement to work in the USA are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the pulp and paper industry.
• Ability to register as a Professional Engineer.
