Senior Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

What you will do

• Lead commercial construction projects through preconstruction, execution, and closeout.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, cost controls, and project financials.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyouts, vendor negotiations, material purchasing, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project billings.
• Manage closeout activities, warranties, O&M manuals, and as-built documentation.
• Mentor project managers, assistant project managers, and coordinators while supporting business development and operational improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years independently managing commercial construction projects.
• Experience with large, complex, multi-phase, or high-risk commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, cost control, and construction documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
