Display Supplier Engineer

Location: Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea, and Pyeongtaek-Mokok, South Korea. Travel required 50% of the time. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Lead supplier process improvements in machining, welding, and quality management systems.
• Define and improve supplier standards and quality control procedures with engineering, quality, and operations teams.
• Participate in supplier audits and verify compliance with quality standards.
• Lead supplier improvement projects from planning through execution, managing schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, and costs.
• Monitor project progress, resolve roadblocks, and coordinate mitigation plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Report project status, KPIs, risks, and action items to regional and global leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, machining or welding process control, or manufacturing quality systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and conduct detailed DWG reviews.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Is/Is Not, statistical analysis, JMP, quality management systems, and supplier audits.
• Knowledge of display and semiconductor process kits and equipment, including susceptors, shadow frames, CVD, PVD, OLED, PQP, and PFMEA documentation.
• High English proficiency and fluent Korean are required for communication with international and local stakeholders.
