Improvement Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Identify and execute initiatives to improve manufacturing productivity, reduce costs, enhance yields, and maximize asset utilization.
• Analyze manufacturing performance data and implement technology enhancements that improve asset reliability and operational performance.
• Develop site-specific technology plans, lead Most Effective Technology initiatives, and support engineering upgrades and new technology introduction.
• Champion Process Safety Management activities and apply continuous improvement methods to strengthen reliability and reduce risk.
• Support growth investments, maintenance and reliability programs, product transfers, contract manufacturing qualifications, capacity expansion, and yield improvement projects.
• Collaborate with plant operations, business leaders, technology experts, and global teams while managing multiple projects throughout their full lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing operations, maintenance engineering, project engineering, or project management.
• Experience leading or supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, project management, and prioritization skills.
• Professional proficiency in both Korean and English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing process simulation or engineering software such as ASPEN.
• Project management or engineering experience in an EPC organization.
