What you will do

• Support the complete molding inductor manufacturing process from powder preparation and pressing through curing, lead forming, testing, and packing.
• Support the complete Cu-Fe co-firing inductor process, including high-pressure pressing, curing, annealing, sintering, and atmosphere control.
• Resolve manufacturing issues such as burrs, delamination, damaged wires and leads, open or short circuits, inductance drift, interface oxidation, and diffusion problems.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools, including DMAIC, VSM, SMED, and TPM, to reduce DPPM and improve Cpk and OEE.
• Lead DOE-based parameter optimization, DFM reviews, pilot runs, and scale-up to mass production.
• Provide real-time production-line support, train technicians and operators, and manage improvement projects involving timelines, budgets, and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Science and Technology, Materials Science with a focus on magnetic materials, Mechanical Design and Automation, Automation, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in powder metallurgy or magnetic components.
• Hands-on experience with at least one complete process for molding inductors or Cu-Fe co-firing inductors, from powder preparation through curing, annealing, or sintering.
• Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, and Minitab or JMP.
• Basic spoken and written English is required.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt certification is preferred. Independent project management experience is also required.
