Systems Engineer IV, Platform (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $161,000–$221,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex projects combining electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design.
• Coordinate with marketing and project management to define system requirements.
• Lead architecture brainstorming, evaluation, selection, and top-level system design.
• Write detailed subsystem specifications, interface definitions, and system architecture documentation.
• Support system integration, assembly, and final testing of new product designs.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues involving serviceability, manufacturability, suppliers, and product integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of professional experience.
• Experience with systems analysis, architecture development, requirements definition, and subsystem integration.
• Ability to collaborate across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, software, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California and travel up to 20%.
