Mechanical Associate Engineer (Winter 2027)

What you will do

• Work with the engineering team to design satellite hardware and software.
• Build and test hardware for complex space projects.
• Contribute to projects with hardware and software intended for deployment in space.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or an equivalent technical field.
• Hands-on enthusiasm for hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent residency, or refugee, asylee, or other protected individual status is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD.
• Experience with stress or thermal analysis software.
• Experience designing and specifying electromechanical systems.
• Experience with control system modeling and design.
