Mechanical Associate Engineer (Aerospace)

Salary: $1,925 per week

What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software with the engineering team.
• Contribute to complex aerospace projects with work comparable in importance and difficulty to full-time engineering projects.
• Personally develop and validate hardware from initial design through testing.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or an equivalent technical field such as physics or applied mathematics.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• Passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or another protected individual under U.S. export-control regulations.

Nice to have

• CAD experience.
• Experience with stress or thermal analysis software.
• Experience designing and specifying electromechanical systems.
• Experience with control-system modeling and design.
