Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York City, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery for Core HR and Payroll initiatives from technical design to post-go-live support.
• Build and manage high-performing teams of internal engineers and external delivery partners.
• Design and implement scalable, secure solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure platform architecture aligns with business priorities.
• Enforce DevOps best practices, automated testing, and robust release management.
• Monitor platform performance and drive continuous improvement of HR and Payroll systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years leading engineering delivery teams.
• 4+ years of in-depth experience as a Workday developer with at least one full implementation cycle.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.
• Proven experience architecting and deploying custom solutions within the Workday Extend or Build ecosystem.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines into Workday Prism for analytics and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in media, entertainment, or consumer-facing digital businesses.
• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and API management solutions like MuleSoft or Apigee.
• Experience building custom web applications with React or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
