What you will do

• Design and maintain sophisticated integrations between cloud platforms, specifically Workday and SAP Ariba, and third-party external systems.
• Develop and maintain custom "Extend" applications to enhance platform functionality and meet business requirements.
• Optimize master and transactional data integrations across HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Procurement modules.
• Manage the full software engineering lifecycle for integrations, including design, deployment, and proactive monitoring.
• Provide high-level technical support and on-call troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and system availability.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve data inquiries and ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of web service and API technologies: REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or Groovy.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Workday integration development (Studio, EIB, Cloud Connector, Orchestration).
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba integration (REST APIs, ITK, and Configuration Management).
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, specifically Kanban or Scrum.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA.
