FP&A Analyst, State Analytics & Decision Support (Auto Finance)

Location: Hybrid; on-site 3 days per week in Chicago, Illinois; Bethesda, Maryland; or New York, New York

Annual salary: $77,900–$129,150

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial models, projections, tools, and scenario analyses supporting business performance and future outlooks.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and the financial impact of operational changes.
• Build and improve analytical tools, templates, dashboards, documentation, and repeatable decision-support frameworks.
• Translate financial and operational analysis into clear narratives, presentations, and decision-ready recommendations.
• Manage moderately complex analytical projects and respond to ad hoc requests while balancing multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred.
• 1–3 years of FP&A, finance, or similar experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, make data-driven recommendations, and solve complex problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is preferred but not required; insurance industry knowledge is also preferred.
