FP&A Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid position in the New York City office, United States

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Accounting during monthly close by preparing accruals, reviewing budget performance, and writing variance commentary.
• Own department-level budget-to-actual reporting and support assigned cost centers as a finance partner.
• Maintain and improve the corporate operating model, including three-statement forecasting, originations, revenue, and unit economics drivers.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, driver assumptions, consolidated outputs, and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare recurring reporting for equity investors, lenders, and the Board, including loan sale and securitization reporting.
• Deliver time-sensitive analysis for senior leadership and frame recommendations for business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, transaction advisory, private credit, or a comparable analytical finance role.
• Experience with three-statement modeling and long-range forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including work with large data sets, plus the ability to query data using SQL or an equivalent tool.
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, prioritization, and independent execution skills.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and planning platforms such as Workday Adaptive Planning or Anaplan.
