TL;DR
Finance Business Partner (FP&A): Supporting business leaders with planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making across assigned business areas with an accent on business partnering, financial modeling, and insight generation. Focus on improving reporting processes, strengthening data governance, analyzing profitability and revenue, and developing AI-enabled finance workflows.
Location: United States approved national locations; Virginia or Florida preferred, with North Carolina or Georgia also considered. The listed office location is Charlottesville, Virginia.
Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive bonus.

What you will do
- Act as a trusted FP&A partner to divisional leaders and assigned business areas.
- Lead monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Translate financial data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership, boards, and committees.
- Build financial models and support product profitability, revenue analysis, vendor reviews, and scorecards.
- Partner with HR and business leaders on headcount, compensation forecasting, and capacity planning.
- Improve data quality, reporting processes, planning methods, finance tools, and AI-enabled analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of FP&A and finance business partnering experience.
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting skills.
- Ability to explain financial data clearly and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience using financial systems and reporting tools.
- Critical thinking, ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to recommend solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or a related field.
Nice to have
- MBA, CPA, CFA progress, or another relevant finance qualification.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, NetSuite, or similar ERP and reporting tools.
- Experience with product profitability, revenue modeling, vendor analysis, or scorecards.
- Interest in using AI tools to improve analysis and finance workflows.
