Senior Engineer – Middleware

Location: Remote, United States. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Salary: $126,090–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile environment using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Participate in design sessions and conduct code reviews.
• Configure developer tooling across task management, source control, build, deployment, operations, and real-time communication systems.
• Diagnose and correct application and infrastructure issues.
• Share best practices, improve processes, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least three years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related occupation.
• Three years of experience with computer networking, protocols, security methodologies, and access management.
• Two years of configuration experience with RedHat, JBoss, MQ, Tomcat, or Apache Web Servers.
• Two years of experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
