IT Senior Engineer, Software (Maximo)

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work-from-home option. Domestic travel is required between Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire for approximately 5% of the role.

Salary: $147,430–$153,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the full lifecycle of technology products, including capital projects and operational support.
• Design, develop, deliver, and improve software solutions in collaboration with IT management, development, architecture, security, product support, and external vendors.
• Make software design decisions by assessing issues, tradeoffs, risks, and appropriate levels of abstraction.
• Maintain and improve legacy code, processes, systems, and products.
• Configure and support IBM Maximo, including workflows, applications, databases, integrations, and automation scripts.
• Develop scripts to simplify developer onboarding and participate in emergency restoration assignments when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in Information Technology or a related occupation.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, Jira or VSTS DevOps, Java, Python, J2EE application servers, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure Cloud.
• Experience supporting IBM Maximo 8 or 7.x, Maximo Integration Framework, Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, Database Configuration, and Maximo automation scripting.
• Experience supporting SAP Ariba, Ariba Network, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Integration Toolkit, and integrations between Ariba and platforms such as Maximo.
• Experience supporting ETL integrations using WebMethods or Informatica.
