  • Proficiency in CAD and component or assembly design, with SolidWorks preferred.
  • Mastery of drawings, GD&T, BOMs, FAIs, ECO/DCO processes, PLM systems, tolerance budgets, and mass budgets.
  • Experience leading mechanical design for complex electromechanical systems, including technical leadership or management of engineers or technicians.
  • Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information under applicable ITAR/EAR requirements.

Nice to have

  • Flight heritage and experience with hardware that has operated successfully in space.
  • Experience with satellite payloads, mission-level mechanical integration, deployable hardware, or ADCS components.
  • Experience with FEMAP, ANSYS, structural analysis, environmental testing, or spacecraft thermal management.
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM, Duro or similar PLM systems, Python, MATLAB, or project management.
  • Experience qualifying external vendors and contract manufacturers.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time employment with equity compensation.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Short- and long-term disability and life insurance.
