Salary: $100,000–$175,000 Annually

What you will do
- Create and modify mechanical designs for new and existing spacecraft products.
- Formulate conceptual designs and CAD models based on customer and business requirements.
- Evaluate product designs for conformance to engineering principles and quality standards.
- Support drafting, documentation, and configuration management activities.
- Investigate and resolve production issues related to existing designs.
- Design and develop test fixtures for environmental testing.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to export-controlled information requirements.
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ten years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of 3D parametric CAD software (Solidworks, Siemens NX).
- Proficiency in GD&T and drafting per ANSI standards.
- Experience in an engineering or product testing/manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Siemens TeamCenter configuration management.
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM) expertise.
- Familiarity with spacecraft design principles and hardware.
- Understanding of product safety documentation and quality processes.
