Location: Hybrid role in Dallas, TX; Chicago is also listed in the conditions.

Salary: $85,000–$96,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, configure, maintain, and enhance insurance rating products using CGI Ratabase/Ratabase360.
• Implement rating algorithms, underwriting rules, discounts, surcharges, product changes, and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with product management, actuaries, underwriters, business analysts, and IT teams to translate requirements into rating solutions.
• Develop integrations with policy administration systems, quoting platforms, portals, and third-party data providers.
• Support product launches, state expansions, regulatory filings, and Agile releases.
• Test, troubleshoot, and document rating changes, production issues, discrepancies, and performance concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with CGI Ratabase or similar insurance rating platforms.
• Experience implementing insurance pricing and rating solutions, preferably for Property & Casualty products.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, REST APIs, web services, database design, and data analysis.
• Experience with unit, system integration, and regression testing, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Ratabase360 cloud implementation experience.
• Experience integrating rating engines with policy administration systems.
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory filings, actuarial pricing, and rate development.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, ETL and data integration tools, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience supporting Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Workers’ Compensation, Auto, Homeowners, or Specialty products.
