Location: Maxwell AFB, Alabama, USA; remote work is available, with occasional work at a Booz Allen or customer facility possible

What you will do

• Develop and manage Appian low-code/no-code platforms from initial vision through production.
• Design user-friendly solutions and automate workflows to resolve client challenges.
• Translate client IT needs and future goals into architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation practices.
• Support cloud modernization and reduce system maintenance and development costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor or supervise employees.
• Use automated testing tools for application testing and maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software applications using agile methods.
• 5+ years of experience with Appian low-code/no-code platforms.
• 5+ years of experience using low-code or no-code solutions for new and existing applications.
• Experience with programming languages, web development technologies, client requirements, workflow automation, and optimization.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, and software products.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Existing Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree.
