What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar tools.
• Extract data from databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud storage; transform it using business rules; load into data warehouses/data lakes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing validation and cleansing logic for large datasets.
• Develop and maintain lake architectures and SQL-based ELT transformations using Azure (ADF, hirify.global), AWS (Glue, Redshift), or GCP (Dataflow, BigQuery).
• Troubleshoot ETL failures and data issues; optimize performance and scheduling; automate monitoring and workflow execution.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, BI Developers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage.
• Strong data engineering fundamentals: data validation/cleansing, data quality, and performance optimization for batch and streaming.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and data lake/warehouse architectures.
• SQL-based transformation experience for ELT workflows.
• Ability to work in the Newark, NJ location.
