Senior Software Engineer - Simulation & Visualization (NVIDIA Omniverse)

Location: Full-time onsite work five days a week at the Irving, Texas office. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable simulation software for autonomous construction machine development and validation.
• Create scenario-authoring tools, automated testing workflows, and validation plans using real-world data.
• Develop high-performance web interfaces for simulation authoring with modern frontend frameworks and visualization libraries.
• Build interactive 3D visualizations of jobsites, machines, sensors, terrain, and simulation data.
• Support scenario variation, execution, inspection, and integration of robotic behaviors, autonomy systems, and sensor data.
• Apply clean architecture, reusable components, automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of Python experience.
• Experience developing web-based frontend applications with frameworks such as Next.js or Angular and graphics libraries such as Three.js.
• Knowledge of computer graphics concepts, 3D space manipulation, rendering, and graphics or animation libraries.
• Experience with UX/UI design, mapping technologies such as GIS or OpenLayers, and publishing data and APIs.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation describing system design.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qt/QML, GTK, ImGui, Vulkan, or OpenGL.
• C++ experience and knowledge of game-level development.
• Backend development with Java or Node.js in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Electron, Ionic, iOS, or Android application development.
• Experience with simulation environments such as NVIDIA Omniverse, CARLA, or Applied Intuition.
