AI Operations Engineer, Partnerships

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid policy requiring staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time

What you will do

• Design and build Claude-powered agentic workflows using MCP connectors, APIs, and business-system integrations.
• Automate partner experience operations, including application triage, onboarding, deal registration, certification tracking, communications, and reporting.
• Integrate workflows with partner portals, CRM, enablement, finance, database, Slack, and email systems.
• Build, test, monitor, document, and operate reliable automations with error handling, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Prototype high-impact workflows with partner managers and deliver working versions quickly.
• Establish reusable prompts, skills, connectors, and playbooks, and help the broader team self-serve on simple automations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building with LLMs and agentic tooling, including prompt and workflow design, tool or function calling, MCP or comparable frameworks, and agent-output evaluation.
• Experience integrating APIs and business systems such as Salesforce, partner portals, LMS or certification platforms, spreadsheets, Slack, and email.
• Ability to script integrations in Python or JavaScript.
• Strong judgment about automation risk, human checkpoints, graceful failure, and operational reliability.
• Ability to redesign messy manual workflows and communicate technical work clearly through documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience; experience requirements correspond to the internal job level.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in operations engineering, solutions engineering, business systems, RevOps, or a similar build-focused role.
• Partner or channel operations experience, including deal registration, MDF or co-sell programs, partner tiering, or certification pipelines.
• Experience shipping internal AI tools or automations that remain in production.
• Familiarity with the Claude API, Claude Code, or agent frameworks; custom MCP server experience is a plus.
