Location: Hybrid in NYC, Austin, Chicago, or Washington, DC

Salary: $230,000–$245,000 in NYC; $214,000–$230,000 in Austin, Chicago, or Washington, DC

What you will do

• Build the first version of an AI-native platform for go-to-market and revenue teams.
• Develop agentic orchestration, automation, and user interfaces for internal revenue workflows.
• Embed with revenue and operations teams to understand workflows and deliver systems that improve how work gets done.
• Define the platform’s architecture, technical direction, tools, and engineering patterns.
• Move prototypes into production and iterate as AI capabilities evolve.
• Partner with security and infrastructure teams and document technical decisions and tradeoffs.

Requirements

• Staff-level engineering experience, approximately 8 years or comparable end-to-end systems experience.
• Experience building greenfield systems, early-stage products, or internal platforms from zero to one.
• Production experience with LLMs and AI APIs, including prompt design, output evaluation, and reliability improvements.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and strong judgment in technical tradeoffs.
• Ability to work independently amid ambiguity, collaborate with business stakeholders, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Current prototypes use React, TypeScript, and Python; the role is language agnostic.

Nice to have

• Understanding of CRM and revenue data models, including Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Experience as an early or founding engineer or in building an internal tooling function.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and embedding-based search.
• Experience in marketplace or high-growth environments and with data platforms such as Snowflake.
