Process Engineer III - Metals Deposition (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $124,000–$171,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and conduct complex process engineering experiments, collect and analyze data, and prepare technical reports.
• Characterize hardware across complex deposition systems and measure and interpret film properties.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop resolutions.
• Generate product documentation, presentations, and internal technical reports.
• Engage with customers, vendors, and suppliers to resolve process concerns and implement new technologies, products, and analytical instrumentation.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and lead project teams when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4–7 years of related semiconductor metals deposition industry experience.
• Conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving.
• Ability to communicate with customers and collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and R&D teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with atomic layer deposition for BEOL processes.
• PhD or MS degree.
